Chandigarh, October 29:- In a major milestone, the paddy arrival throughout the mandis has crossed the 100 Lakh Metric Tonne (LMT) mark with over 97 LMT procured. CHANDIGARH, October 28:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 241st day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 311 locations on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 58 drug smugglers after registration of 48 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. Amritsar, October 26: Fulfilling another promise made with the flood victims of the state, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday flagged off seven trucks to provide two lakh quintal wheat seeds free of cost to the farmers who have lost their crop in around five lakh acres of land during the recent floods.
