Chandigarh, September 24: The Punjab Cabinet led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday gave nod to several key initiatives to boost industry and commerce in the state to further put its economy on the path of high growth trajectory. A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Council Of Ministers held here today under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister. CHANDIGARH, September 24:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 207th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 299 locations on Wednesday leading to the arrest of 52 drug smugglers after registration of 36 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
