Chandigarh, November 26:-Punjab’s Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, announced that “Punjab Sakhi Shakti Melas” will be organized across all districts of the state to provide a vibrant platform for women to showcase their skills, creativity, and handmade products. The first mela commenced today, November 26 in Sangrur at the Ranbir College Ground, and will continue till November 30. These melas are being organized by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats in collaboration with the Punjab State Rural Livelihood Mission and the Department of Industries and Commerce. Sri Anandpur Sahib, November 26:- A mock session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha was organized on the occasion of India’s Constitution Day in the Punjab Legislative Assembly established here to mark 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on Wednesday. The students from government schools across Punjab participated in this mock session.Even though it was just a mock session, as many as 117 students played their roles so realistically which reflects it as a real Punjab Vidhan Sabha sitting. CHANDIGARH, November 25:-           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 269th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 309 locations on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 81 drug smugglers after registration of 75 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
