CHANDIGARH, November 27:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 271st day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 271 locations on Thursday leading to the arrest of 93 drug smugglers after registration of 68 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. Chandigarh, November 27:- Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur announced that under the Ashirwad Scheme the Punjab Government has released ₹22.66 crore in the current financial year 2025–26 to provide financial assistance to 4,443 beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes across the State.
