Vigilance Bureau nabs ASI red-handed accepting bribe of Rs 5000/-

Chandigarh, November 13, 2025 –  In its ongoing crackdown on corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested ASI Ragwinder Prasad posted at  police station kot Ise Khan district Moga. He was caught red-handed accepting a  bribe of Rs 5000 from a complainant, resident of tehsil Malout district Sri Muktsar Sahib. Disclosing this a spokesperson of VB said that a case was registered against the complainant's relatives in police station Kot Ise khan and the investigating officer ASI Ragwinder Prasad demanded a bribe of Rs. 20000/- in lieu of helping him in this case.
