Punjab State Information Commission Observes International Mother Language Day 2025
Chandigarh, February 21:
The Punjab State Information Commission organized a special event at its office in Chandigarh to commemorate International Mother Language Day 2025. On this occasion, Chief State Information Commissioner Mr. Inderpal Singh released a documentary film and a pictorial brochure dedicated to the significance of the Punjabi language. The pictorial work was meticulously compiled by State Information Commissioner Harpreet Sandhu.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Inderpal Singh underscored the importance of linguistic diversity and the preservation of native languages. He said that a mother tongue is not merely a medium of communication but the very essence of one's heritage and identity.
