Chandigarh, September 24: The Punjab Cabinet led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday gave nod to several key initiatives to boost industry and commerce in the state to further put its economy on the path of high growth trajectory. CHANDIGARH, September 23:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 206th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 343 locations on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 78 drug smugglers after registration of 54 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 30,677 in 206 days.           The raids have resulted in recovery of 3.6 kg heroin, 1.25 kg ganja, 20 kg poppy husk and 624 intoxicant tablets/capsules from the possession of arrested drug smugglers.         &n...
