Chandigarh, July 28: In a significant initiative by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to provide advanced vocational training to the youth, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Government Polytechnic College Amritsar and IIT Rupnagar. CHANDIGARH, July 27:           In a significant stride under the ongoing anti-drugs campaign ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Police has recovered 1,002 kilograms of heroin in less than five months. CHANDIGARH, July 26:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 147th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 362 locations on Saturday leading to the arrest of 113 drug smugglers after registration of 72 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
