Chandigarh, 2 August 2025: In furtherance of the investigations into FIR No. 22 dated 25-06-2025, registered at Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) Police Station Flying Squad, SAS Nagar, against Bikram Singh Majithia, searches were carried by the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab out on Saturday, i.e., 02-08-2025, at three premises linked to Gillco Developers.  During the searches, the Vigilance Bureau has uncovered details of suspicious financial transactions running into crores between Gillco Developers and entities linked with Bikram Singh Majithia. Chandigarh, August 2 In a significant move to support the families of State Government employees, Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema announced today that the Finance Department (FD) has withdrawn a key option clause for New Pension Scheme (NPS) employees to receive family or invalid pension.
