Chandigarh 11 August 2025: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state today arrested  ASI Satnam Singh posted at Police Station Islamabad, Amritsar for receiving a bribe of Rs 20,000/-as first instalment. Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said the accused demanded a bribe from the complainant Inderjeet Singh resident of  Bhai Manj Road, Amritsar. The complainant, Inderjeet Singh stated that his close friend Paras Mehta was a financial advisor and had invested money of one Sunil Kumar in share market.
