Chandigarh, October 9: The Punjab Government has constituted a sector-specific committee to prepare a customised transformation roadmap for the real estate sector aimed at promoting structured engagement between the real estate industry and the government. The committee has been formed under the Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide policy inputs for a progressive, transparent and investment-friendly real estate ecosystem in Punjab. CHANDIGARH, October 9:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 222nd day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 290 locations on Thursday leading to the arrest of 77 drug smugglers after registration of 59 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 32,432 in 222 days.           The raids have resulted in recovery of 17.7 kg heroin, 501 grams opium, 26,983 intoxicant tablets/capsules and Rs 15.09 lakhs drug money from the possession of arrested drug smugglers.       &...
