Chandigarh, September 14: Proving true to its holy commitment of hand holding the families ravaged by floods, as many as 50 such families stand awarded the compensation to the tune of Rs. 2 Cr. Stating this, the Revenue Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said that due to the catastrophic floods, 56 precious lives have been lost in Punjab. Out of these, compensation has been given to 50 families while the rest of 6 families would also be awarded compensation soon.
