Chandigarh, April 20: Ahead of the by-election in the 64-Ludhiana West Assembly Constituency, a Special Summary Revision of the Photo Electoral Roll is currently underway. The qualifying date for this voter list is April 1, 2025. Punjab’s Chief Electoral Officer, Sibin C, informed that 64-Ludhiana West constituency have  1,73,071 voters. Chandigarh/Rupnagar, April 18: Punjab's Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak on Friday reviewed the ongoing wheat procurement arrangements at the grain market of Rupnagar, He said that this time there has been a bumper crop of wheat in Punjab and about 125 lakh metric tonnes of wheat is likely to arrive during this season. Chandigarh, April 17, 2025 –  The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has uncovered a corruption scam at Civil Hospital Bholath in Kapurthala district, where employees were taking bribes to issue false negative dope test reports. Acting on a complaint filed on the Chief Minister’s Anti-Corruption Action Line, the VB arrested two accused – Manpreet Singh alias Sonu, a ward attendant, and Bholu alias Ismail, a contractual computer operator, for accepting Rs 10000.
