Chandigarh, January 25 In line with the commitment of the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to provide transparent and hassle-free services in government offices, the Revenue Department has decided to ensure the full functionality of CCTV cameras installed in all Sub-Registrar and Joint Sub-Registrar offices. Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, in a press statement issued today, stated that these CCTV cameras have been installed to ensure that citizens face no inconvenience while getting their work done at Revenue Department offices. Chandigarh, January 22, 2025 - The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state, has arrested a police Constable Kindar Singh, posted at police station Garhshankar, in Hoshiarpur district for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 30000. In this case co-accused SHO Baljinder Singh Malhi escaped from the scene evading his arrest.
