Chandigarh, May 2: The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Punjab, in accordance with directives from the Election Commission of India, has issued warnings to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.           Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had used the phrase 'Delhi ke Dalal' in a video against Aam Aadmi Party's State Convener and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections-2024, which is in violation of the guidelines of the MCC. JALANDHAR, April 29: Making the biggest heroin seizure of 2024, Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has busted an international drug syndicate with the arrest of its three members after recovering 48kg heroin and Rs 21 lakh drug money from their possession, said Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Monday.           Those arrested have been identified as Satnam Singh alias Babbi, a native of village Dhandiyan in Nawanshahr and currently residing at Subhash Nagar in Hoshiarpur; his daughter Aman Rozi and his son-in-law Hardeep Singh.
