Chandigarh, November 21:-The Punjab and Haryana High Court today designated Advocate General Maninderjit Singh Bedi as Senior Advocate. The official notification stated that the court, exercising its authority under Section 16(2) of the Advocates Act 1961, has accorded this designation to S. Bedi with effect from the date of issuance of the notification. Advocate General S. Bedi comes from Phul town in Bathinda district. CHANDIGARH, November 19:-           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 263rd day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 298 locations on Wednesday leading to the arrest of 110 drug smugglers after registration of 92 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
