Dhuri (Sangrur), November 9- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday flagged off the first batch of buses carrying devotees for paying obeisance at holy city of Amritsar under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme. Interacting with the devotees, the Chief Minister said that this pilgrimage is dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Chandigarh, November 9:- In view of the sensitivity of the Border district of Tarn Taran, in which Bye poll is going to be held for Tarn Taran Assembly Constituency on 11.11.25, Election Commission of India (ECI) had made foolproof security arrangements through District Election machinery and had finalized the deployment plan in consultation with Observers deployed by ECI. Paddy arrival nearing 150 LMT mark; crosses 144 LMT figure

CHANDIGARH, November 8:- Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 252nd day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 292 locations on Saturday leading to the arrest of 71 drug smugglers after registration of 50 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 35,737 in 252 days.
