Vigilance Bureau arrests Reader to DDPO for accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000/-

Chandigarh, 14 November 2025- In its ongoing crackdown on corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested Rajwant Kaur, Reader to DDPO Jalandhar. She demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000/- from a complainant resident of village Dhadda, district Jalandhar. Disclosing this a spokesperson of VB said that an enquiry was conducted of a complaint submitted by complainant, Sarpanch of village Dhadda.
