Chandigarh, August 1 Punjab Finance, Planning, Excise and Taxation Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema announced on Friday that the state has once again broken records in tax revenue growth, with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection registering a net growth of 32.08% in July 2025 compared to the same period last year. CHANDIGARH, July 31: Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 152nd day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 380 locations on Thursday leading to the arrest of 101 drug smugglers after registration of 79 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 24,089 in 152 days.
