Chandigarh, August 1 Punjab Finance, Planning, Excise and Taxation Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema announced on Friday that the state has once again broken records in tax revenue growth, with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection registering a net growth of 32.08% in July 2025 compared to the same period last year. CHANDIGARH, July 31:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 152nd day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 380 locations on Thursday leading to the arrest of 101 drug smugglers after registration of 79 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. Chandigarh, July 27: In a major step towards ensuring the dignity and welfare of senior citizens, the Punjab Government has disbursed an amount of ₹1347 crore under the Old Age Pension Scheme up to June 2025. This was stated today by Dr. Baljit Kaur, Punjab's Minister for Social Security, Women and Child Development.
