Chandigarh, November 9: Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond today announced that the next phase of Light and Sound Shows, dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, will be held on November 11 at Amritsar, Ferozepur, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), and Sangrur. These shows are being organized by the Punjab Government as part of the ongoing series of events commemorating the sacred occasion. Dhuri (Sangrur), November 9- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday flagged off the first batch of buses carrying devotees for paying obeisance at holy city of Amritsar under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme. Interacting with the devotees, the Chief Minister said that this pilgrimage is dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Chandigarh, November 7:- Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S.Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is fully committed to the welfare of every section of society, giving special attention to the upliftment and empowerment of persons with disabilities. Dr. Baljit Kaur informed that the Punjab Government has so far released ₹287.95 crore as financial assistance to persons with disabilities, benefitting 2,76,175 eligible beneficiaries across the state.
