Chandigarh, September 23: Asserting that farmers have never faced any problem in selling their grain during the last three years, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday said that like previous years, the state government will repeat the history of smooth, hassle free and timely procurement of the paddy in the state. Reviewing the ongoing paddy procurement in the state during a meeting held here today, the Chief Minister said that all out efforts have been made to ensure smooth, hassle free and quick procurement of paddy on one hand and facilitate the farmers in getting timely payment of their produce on the other.
