CHANDIGARH, November 26:-           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 270th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 358 locations on Wednesday leading to the arrest of 104 drug smugglers after registration of 83 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 38,150 in 270 days.           The raids have resulted in recovery of 6.4 kg heroin, 1.6 kg ICE, 389 intoxicant pills and Rs 6.96 lakhs drug money from the possession of arrested drug smugglers.           Notably, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has a...

The first mela commenced today, November 26 in Sangrur at the Ranbir College Ground, and will continue till November 30. Sri Anandpur Sahib, November 26:- A mock session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha was organized on the occasion of India’s Constitution Day in the Punjab Legislative Assembly established here to mark 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on Wednesday. The students from government schools across Punjab participated in this mock session.Even though it was just a mock session, as many as 117 students played their roles so realistically which reflects it as a real Punjab Vidhan Sabha sitting.
