Punjab Government releases over ₹242 Crore financial aid to orphaned and dependent children: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Chandigarh, November 3:- Punjab’s Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur, stated that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is steadfastly working to secure the future of orphaned and dependent children through sustained financial and social support initiatives. Dr. Baljit Kaur informed that financial assistance worth ₹242.77 crore has so far been disbursed to dependent children across the State. This financial support aims to assist children who have lost one or both parents or whose families are facing severe hardships.
