CROSS-BORDER NARCOTICS SMUGGLING NETWORK BUSTED IN AMRITSAR; FOUR HELD WITH 4KG HEROIN
CHANDIGARH/AMRITSAR, July 26:
Amidst the ongoing drive to make Punjab a drug free state as per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Counter Intelligence (CI) Amritsar has busted a cross-border narcotics smuggling module with links to Pakistan and arrested four of its operatives after recovering 4 kg heroin from their possession, said Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Saturday.
