Punjab Education Minister to Inaugurate Development Projects Completed in 10 Government Schools on 24th April

#Punjab Sikhya Kranti The changing face of Punjab’s government schools is a testament to the commitment of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. By providing basic infrastructure across thousands of schools in the state, the government has ensured a favorable learning environment for students.
      Educational reforms have brought model and convent-like facilities to government schools, bringing joy and pride to students, parents, and teachers. Many schools have already undergone significant transformations. The construction of boundary walls around each school has created a secure atmosphere. Facilities such as integrated science labs, modern classrooms, sports grounds, well-furnished rooms, and furniture are now available in all government schools in Punjab.
       Senior secondary schools are also being equipped with transport facilities, Wi-Fi, campus managers, and security guards, offering students amenities comparable to those found in model schools.
      Development projects worth crores of rupees are being inaugurated daily across the state. Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has been continuously dedicating these completed development projects to the public, offering valuable facilities to students. He is especially focused on improving the government schools in villages within his constituency.
A landmark initiative in this direction is the School of Eminence in the holy city of Kiratpur Sahib, built at a cost of 12 crore with ultra-modern amenities. In Nangal, the School of Eminence includes an all-weather swimming pool, while the Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Lodhipur features a shooting range, astroturf, sports grounds, a School of Happiness, School of Brilliance, and School of Excellence — all seen as symbols of the educational revolution.
On April 24, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains will inaugurate development projects completed in 10 government schools in his constituency, Government Primary School Raipur: Rs 2.55 lakh for renovation, Rs 50,000 for toilet repairs,Government Primary School Patti: Rs 2.55 lakh for repairs, Rs 3 lakh for boundary wall construction,Government Primary School Meghpur: Rs 2.50 lakh for boundary wall, Rs 2.55 lakh for renovation,Government Middle School Meghpur: Rs 4 lakh for boundary wall construction,Government Primary School Dukli: Rs 2.55 lakh for renovation,Government Primary School FF Block: Rs 2.55 lakh for renovation, Rs 85,000 for classroom renovation,Government Primary School Dobeta: Rs 85,000 for renovation, Rs 3.13 lakh for holistic development plan,Government High School Dobeta: Rs 10 lakh for repair work,Government Primary School Nangal Ladke: Rs 6.6 lakh for boundary wall, Rs 1.13 lakh for girls’ bathroom renovation, Rs 2.55 lakh for classroom renovatio,Government High School Nangal Special: Rs 7.51 lakh for art and craft room, Rs 9.65 lakh for library room, Rs 10 lakh for science lab.

       Additionally, the Education Minister is also allocating funds for further development works in villages, including flood-hit grants. This funding supports not only schools but also the construction and repair of cities, villages, roads, streets, drains, street lights, and community centers.
