DC reviews preparations for Kila Raipur Rural Olympics scheduled from January 31 to February 2

Ludhiana, January 29  Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal conducted a review of the preparations for the Kila Raipur Rural Olympics 2025 on Wednesday at the venue. The games will take place from January 31 to February 2, with Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond set to inaugurate the event on Friday at 1 PM. For the second consecutive year, the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government is organizing the Rural Olympics. Vigilance Bureau arrests ASI for taking Rs 15,000 bribe

Chandigarh 29 January 2025 : The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing crackdown against bribery, has arrested Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Prashotam Lal, posted at Police Station Aur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on charges of taking bribe of Rs 15,000. He had been absconding for the last 4 months, evading his arrest in this case.
