Amritsar, January 6, 2025: MLA from the Central Assembly constituency, Dr Ajay Gupta said that a camp is being organized at his office in Hathi Ke at 11:30 am on January 8 to give the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the people. He said that in the camp, under this scheme, the beneficiaries are given money to build 2 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. He said that earlier the Punjab government and the central government together used to give an amount of Rs 1.75 lakh to build a house under this scheme. Now the said amount has been increased to Rs 2.5 lakh.
