Chandigarh, April 4:           Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has established a dedicated control room to prevent fire incidents in wheat crops during the ongoing harvest season.           Providing further details, Power Minister S. Chandigarh, April 4, 2025 - The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing drive against corruption in the state, on Friday, arrested a private homeopathic doctor, Dr. Arvind Kumar, a resident of Raiya, in Amritsar district, while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 3.50 lakh in Tarn Taran. Chandigarh, April 2: Continuing its zero-tolerance policy against corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has arrested a revenue patwari and his assistant for accepting a bribe of Rs 1,000.  The accused have been identified as Kulwinder Singh, Patwari of Halqa Waringkhera in Mukatsar Sahib district and his assistant Ashok Kumar.
