Chandigarh, 15 April 2025:  The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing campaign against corruption, on Tuesday, arrested Constable Adarshdeep Singh, posted at CIA-2 Staff, Amritsar for demanding a bribe of Rs. 60,000. Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said the arrest has been made following a complaint lodged by a complainant, a resident of Amritsar, on the Chief Minister’s Anti Corruption Action Line. He further added that as per the complaint, the accused constable had demanded a bribe Rs. 60,000 for not registering a frivolous FIR against his neighbour Kishan Kumar. Chandigarh, April 15: The trials of Malkhamb (Boys & Girls) sport in respect of Khelo India Youth Games would be held on April 17th at Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) in Gurdaspur. These games would be held in Bihar from May 4th to May 15th, 2025. A spokesperson of the Sports Department said that these trials would begin at 11 am and the interested players must be born on January 1st, 2007 or after.
