Chandigarh, July 10: Making a notable stride in the fish farming sector, Punjab has been producing 2 lakh metric tons (MT) of fish annually from natural waters, private and panchayati ponds, informed S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries, on the occasion of National Fish Farmers Day, on Thursday. Chandigarh, July 8: Terming Panjab University, Chandigarh's decision of imposing a mandatory affidavit/undertaking for fresh admissions in the 2025-26 session as "dictatorial and arbitrary", Punjab Higher Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains shot a letter to the varsity’s Vice Chancellor on Tuesday, seeking clarification on the move. In his letter, S.
