Chandigarh, August 24: The Punjab Jail Department has initiated the process of purchasing ultra-modern security equipment for the jails of the state to further strengthen the security infrastructure. Giving this information, Punjab Jail Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. CHANDIGARH, August 23:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 175th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 470 locations on Saturday leading to the arrest of 134 drug smugglers after registration of 95 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
