Chandigarh, November 21, 2025 – In its ongoing crackdown on corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested Patwari Sarabjit Singh posted at circle Golward village Bala Chak, district Tarn Taran. He was caught red-handed accepting a second installment of bribe Rs 25000/- from a complainant, who is a resident of district Amritsar. Disclosing this a spokesperson of VB said that the complainant wants to sell his land and for selling it, the complainant obtained the copy of the mutation (fard) of his land.  Then, he came to know that this land is not registered in his name, but in the name of some other person.
