This was disclosed by the Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur. The Minister informed that during this period, as many as 23.09 lakh elderly beneficiaries availed the benefits of the scheme. CHANDIGARH, September 30: Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 213th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 300 locations on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 71 drug smugglers after registration of 48 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 31,441 in 213 days.
