Sangrur, March 14:  Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department Punjab Mr. Kumar Rahul visited Civil Hospital Sangrur and took stock of the health of female patients admitted in the Gynaecology ward. He spoke to the family members of the patients and the doctors present on the spot and while addressing the media, he said that he has interacted with 14 patients and all of them are healthy. He said that due to the administration of normal saline (NS), 3 patients initially had some health problems but the doctors present on the spot treated them well and no patient needed to be referred. PUNJAB GOVT DISBURSES ₹4.34-CR TO 9500 FARMERS UNDER DSR SCHEME TO PROMOTE WATER CONSERVATION

Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government has transferred Rs. 4.34 Crore into the bank accounts of over 9500 farmers under the first phase of the Direct Sowing of Rice (DSR) initiative for the Kharif 2024 season.  Disclosing this here today, Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that during kharif 2024,  over 24000 farmers have registered 2.53 lakh acres on the DSR portal.
