Chandigarh/Dhuri/ Sangrur, April 19: Following the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Mandi Board Secretary Mr. Ramvir conducted a surprise visit to the grain markets of Sangrur district. During his visit to Dhuri and Sangrur grain markets, the Mandi Board Secretary also inspected the moisture content in the wheat crop brought by the farmers to the grain markets. Mr. Ramvir said that due to the heavy storm and rain that occurred recently, some of the wheat piles in the low-lying areas of the mandis were affected, but the Mandi Board employees and commission agents have immediately taken preventive measures to curtail the damage.
