Global Sikh Council proposes 11 suggestions to SGPC to observe martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji worldwide

Amritsar August 7 : The Global Sikh Council (GSC) has called upon the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to spearhead a comprehensive globally impactful programs to observe the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Ninth Nanak, revered as the "Protector of Humanity" (Dharm di Chadar). They were facing mistreatment and expressed a strong desire to return to India due to concerns for their safety and well-being. In this connection, Cabinet Minister Sh. Sanjeev Arora took keen interest to help Punjabi youth and requested Union Cabinet Minister Sh. S.Jaishankar and Indian Embassy in Iraq for making arrangements to bring back four Indian citizens stranded in Iraq.
