Chandigarh, October 30:- Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman Sardar Jasvir Singh Garhi met the state Police Chief Gaurav Yadav. Giving information about this meeting, Sardar Garhi said that during this meeting, discussions were held regarding the deputation of SP level authority in every district of Punjab state to deal with cases related to SCST Act and the deputation of a DGP level officer at the state level. CHANDIGARH, October 28:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 241st day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 311 locations on Tuesday leading to the arrest of 58 drug smugglers after registration of 48 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
