CHANDIGARH/SAS NAGAR, November 10:-  Punjab Police, on Monday, strongly refuted the allegations of mounting barricades by Haryana Police at Mohali to stop protesters entering Chandigarh.  Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ropar Range Nanak Singh, who himself took stock of the situation by visiting the spot along with other officials, confirmed that no nakabandi or checking was done by Haryana Police at the said location. He warned the rumour mongers to refrain from such types of activities to create panic among masses.  DIG Nanak Singh said that Punjab police is capable enough to safeguard its jurisdiction and no outside force is allowed to enforce law and order duty inside the state without due permission.
