 Chandigarh, January 8:  Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday released the diary and calendar of the Punjab Government for the year 2025 at his official residence this morning.  Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the layout design of the calendar and diary had been conceptualized and prepared by the Information & Public Relations Department and printed by the Controller Printing & Stationery Punjab. Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, Secretary Information and Public Relations Malwinder Singh Jaggi and others.

Jalandhar, January 7 : In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Jalandhar Rural Police have dismantled an interstate poppy husk smuggling racket operating between Madhya Pradesh and Punjab. Acting on specific intelligence, a team from Phillaur Police Station intercepted a truck carrying 01 quintals and 44 kilograms of crushed poppy husk concealed beneath sacks of onions and garlic during a naka operation near Lasara village. The arrested smugglers have been identified as Buta Singh and Kulwant Singh, both residents of Sant Nagar, Phillaur. Amritsar, January 6, 2025: MLA from the Central Assembly constituency, Dr Ajay Gupta said that a camp is being organized at his office in Hathi Ke at 11:30 am on January 8 to give the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to the people.
