Chandigarh/ Kapurthala, April 1 Kapurthala civil and police administration in a joint drive, carried out a major operation in village Boot under Subhanpur police station by demolishing illegal constructions on Panchayati land by Drug lords . Acting on the orders passed by of B.D.P.O. This was disclosed by Dr. Baljit Kaur, Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities. Sharing further information, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that during the current financial year 2024-25, an amount of Rs. 20 crore has been released after processing 3,922 applications received from 12 districts under the Ashirwad Scheme. She added that under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 51,000 is provided for the marriage of girls belonging to economically weaker families.
