Jalandhar, June 12: Under the Punjab Government's decisive war against drugs, namely *“Yudh Nashian Virudh”*, launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate the drug menace from the state, the campaign has completed 103 days today. Under this unique initiative, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, led by Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur, have arrested 577 drug smugglers and recovered massive drug consignments in 410 cases. Chandigarh, June 12 2025:  The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing drive against corruption, has arrested Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Baldev Singh, posted at police station Sultanpur Lodhi, district Kapurthala for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000. Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said the arrest has been made following a complaint lodged by a resident of Kapurthala on the Chief Minister’s Anti Corruption Action Line. Chandigarh, June 11: The Punjab Government successfully supplied a record-high electricity demand of 16,711 MW across the state without any power cuts on June 11, 2025. This was disclosed by Punjab Power Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO in a press statement issued here today.
