CHANDIGARH, June 25:           With the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state completed 116 days, Punjab Police on Wednesday arrested 153 drug smugglers and recovered 1.8 kg heroin, 2.4 kg opium and Rs 28890 drug money from their possession. Chandigarh June 25, 2025 - Investigations by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the FIR no. 02 of 2021 registered in Police Station Punjab State Crime and the Vigilance Bureau reveal massive laundering of drug money facilitated by Bikram Singh Majithia.
