Chandigarh, September 15: In line with its commitment to ensuring environmentally responsible industrial practices, the Board carried out a comprehensive inspection of all Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO) Units across the State. As many as 17 teams comprising officers of the rank of Environmental Engineer were deployed to conduct a synchronized inspection of 17 operational TPO units located in different districts of Punjab. According to an official spokesperson, the inspections were aimed at assessing compliance with environmental safeguards, safety protocols and pollution control measures mandated under the law and prescribed guidelines.
