Chandigarh, 15 November:- Punjab Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond today announced that the Punjab Government has released the detailed schedule of special events to be held at the sacred land of the Khalsa, Sri Anandpur Sahib, from 23 to 25 November in commemoration of the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The State Government has designated the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs as the nodal department for the successful planning and execution of these events. Chandigarh, November 13,- Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema announced on Thursday that the registration of state pensioners on the newly launched Pensioner Sewa Portal will be completed within three months. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the three-day Pensioner Sewa Mela, held at the District Administrative Complex in SAS Nagar. He also apprised the media that the fair 'Pension Sewa Mela', scheduled from November 13 to 15, is being organized across all districts of Punjab to assist pensioners with portal registration. CHANDIGARH, November 12:-           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 256th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 286 locations on Wednesday leading to the arrest of 59 drug smugglers after registration of 42 first information reports (FIRs) across the state.
