Chandigarh, September 12: In a noteworthy gesture of compassion, Punjab Revenue Officers Association handed over a cheque of Rs.10 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for providing assistance to the flood-affected families in the state. Chandigarh, September 11: The Punjab Government is carrying out large-scale relief operations in flood-affected areas, with special measures being taken to prevent the outbreak of diseases. Entire staff of health, veterinary, and other concerned departments has been working tirelessly to ensure safety of residents.  Education and Information & Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bains stated that he reviewed the damages caused by floods in Rupnagar with Deputy Commissioner Varjeet Walia.
