CHANDIGARH, September 26:           Continuing the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” waged by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to eradicate drug menace from state consecutively for the 209th day, Punjab Police conducted raids at 403 locations on Friday leading to the arrest of 83 drug smugglers after registration of 56 first information reports (FIRs) across the state. With this, the number of total drug smugglers arrested has reached to 31,047 in 209 days.           The raids have resulted in recovery of 854 grams heroin, 2600 kg poppy husk, 21 kg ganja, 1688 intoxicant tablets/capsules and Rs 4010 drug money from the possession of arrested drug smugglers.     &nb...

New Delhi/Chandigarh/September 26 Rajya Sabha member and environmentalist Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging the reconstruction of the historical site of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Baghdad, Iraq. In his letter, Sant Seechewal mentioned that during his Udasis (travels), Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited the city of Baghdad in 1511 AD.
