Chandigarh, November 1, 2025 –  In its ongoing crackdown on corruption, the Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) today arrested a Forestor, Surinderjit Pal, posted at Forest Department Mahilpur in district Hoshiarpur. He was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 15000 from a complainant  resident of village Thidan, in tehsil Garshankar. Disclosing this a spokesperson of VB said the complainant has been engaged in the wood cutting business for the past 10-12 years.
