Sri Muktsar Sahib, February 22, 2025: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state, on Sunday, has arrested Suresh Kumar, a clerk posted at the Nagar Council, Malout, in Sri Muktsar Sahib district, for accepting a bribe of Rs 20000 from a underprivileged widow. Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said that the aforementioned accused has been arrested based on a complaint lodged by a resident of Malout.
