Chandigarh, March 10 – The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing drive against corruption in the state, has arrested Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Kulwinder Singh, posted at Police Station City, Kapurthala, for accepting a bribe of Rs 3,500 and demanding an additional Rs 10,000. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the VB stated that the said police official was arrested following an online complaint lodged by a resident of Kapurthala on the Chief Minister’s Anti-Corruption Action Line. The spokesperson further added that the complainant had informed the VB that he had got registered a police case  at the said police station.
