Chandigarh/Gurdaspur, April 5: The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister,Punjab, Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak today held a meeting with senior officers of 4 districts including Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Amritsar and Tarn Taran at Panchayat Bhawan Gurdaspur and reviewed the wheat procurement in Majha area. Vigilance Bureau arrests Homeopathic Doctor red-handed accepting Rs 3.50 lakh bribe

Chandigarh, April 4, 2025 - The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) during its ongoing drive against corruption in the state, on Friday, arrested a private homeopathic doctor, Dr. Arvind Kumar, a resident of Raiya, in Amritsar district, while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 3.50 lakh in Tarn Taran.
