Jalandhar, April 24: In a major crackdown under the Punjab Government's ongoing anti-drug campaign ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’, the Jalandhar district and Police administration led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal and Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur have taken firm action against an unauthorized drug de-addiction centre operating illegally at Village Samrai. Receiving direct information on phone, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal directed the health and police departments to raid the facility, resulting in swift and effective action by the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police. Chandigarh, April 25: Punjab's Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond announced that the Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has launched several significant and innovative initiatives aimed at strengthening Panchayats and promoting rural development.
